How to fix 'there is an update' error on your website?

Sometimes we don't imagine that an emoji could break our website, and if that happened to you, here's the solution...

How to troubleshoot the 'there is an update' problem on your website?

If your customers cannot access your website, and you cannot access your website builder, most probably you are experiencing an error like the one in the image below.

In order to fix this, you need to check your subscription/membership product descriptions and also, your one-time product descriptions. If you see any special characters and/or emotes, you need to remove them as they are breaking the website template and limiting your customers and yourself to access the website.

Please don't use emojis or any special characters included in the product descriptions as these are breaking the PHP (don't mind the dev lingo), in other words, they are causing this error.

Once you remove the special characters and/or emotes, you should be able to visit your page or access your website builder as usual.
