How to add a tracking number for customer's order?

Once the order is shipped, we know you want to give certainty to your customer that his/her box is already on its way 🚚! Please keep reading to learn how you can do so 😃


Using ShipStation or Pirateship

When using one of our integrations, either ShipStation or Pirateship, tracking number of the order will be automatically dispatched to the customer through the Order Shipped notification email.  

You don't have to do anything else when using one of these methods 🧘‍♀️


Using a different shipping provider

If you decided to use a different shipping service, most probably it has its own notification system, which will include a tracking number for the order. In this case, there's no need to send the Order Shipped email from Subbly, so feel free to disable it from your Admin (or simply click here). 


When running an in-house fulfillment

Handling shipping entirely by yourself will require you to elaborate your personal process for dispatching tracking numbers to customers. 

Since Order Shipped email will not pull any tracking information, you may opt for sending a tailor-made email to customers instead. It's as easy as clicking on your customer's email in their profile and then use your preferred client 📤.
