Setting up Bablic

Bablic is the tool that provides an option of applying translation of any page on your Subbly admin (if you need admin translated) or other pages of your site. However, please do note that Subbly already offers built-in solutions for localizing your site's pages or for translating the checkouts. You can read more about the built-in translation tool here.

How to set up Bablic?

Bablic is not free to use. Check their pricing out here.

Bablic is a 3rd party app we integrate with that will help you translate pages of your site. The most common use for Bablic would be translating the customer portal pages of your store account, which are not translatable using the built-in tools on Subbly. Note however that you're already possible to translate the checkout pages with our built-in tool. Read more about it here

In order to cross-integrate between Subbly and Bablic you will first need to create your Bablic account

Once you've done it, please go back to Subbly's App Store and make sure to find the app, and click on Install & Configure button beneath the Bablic icon.

From the subsequent window at the right of your screen, you will need to simply copy and paste the javascript code which you'll get from Bablic's admin to the appropriate field:

Translate only checkout toggle actually handles whether you'd want Bablic to translate only the checkout pages (in which case you should keep the toggle active), or both the customer portal pages and the checkout (in which case you can leave it inactive as in the picture above)

Once the script is copied, make sure to enable the app and save the changes. From here on, you will need to handle the translation of your site's pages directly on your Bablic admin.

If you need any help with handling translation on your Bablic admin, please refer to their help base here or you can use contact Bablic's friendly support section and they will be glad to help you with the setup.
