How to edit checkout layout through Google Optimize?

Optimize enables you to run website experiments to determine what converts best with your visitors by altering multiple elements on a page.

This help article explains the workaround solution you might want to resort for changing the layout of your Subbly's checkouts. However, the proper way of doing this would be building a bespoke solution on top of our powerful APIs and SDKs. Please find the API docs here and use that to build something phenomenal instead of relying on a workaround solution such as this one.

How to set up Google Optimize?

You will need to sign in or create a Google optimize account here and create a new container by clicking on "Create account".

You will be prompted with the following window in which you will input your account name and then agree with all terms and conditions to be able to name your container by clicking on the next button.

After creating your container, you will create an experience that will prompt a widget for you to name the experience and add the checkout URL of any of your products as the page you'd like to use and edit.

Click on "Make site changes."

You will be forwarded to the checkout process in which you will have various editing tools to edit the checkout layout. After editing the checkout layout, click on Done and changes will be saved.

You can press Shift+Enter on your keyboard, or click on the icon pointed at the image above, to enter interactive mode to enable the ability to interact with the page elements and move forward in the checkout process to change different stages of the checkout layout.
